Nasarawa state government bans Achaba,keke NAPEP in the state to curtail covid19 spread.

Governor of Nasarawa state, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule has banned the operators of Achaba & keke NAPEP in the state.

According to a press statement personally signed by the Governor said “the operators of Achaba and keke NAPEP are encouraging the spread of corona virus pandemic in the state,”.

The Governor further stated that the violators of this directive would faced the full wrath of the law.

The Governor who is having a sleepless nights in ensuring that corona virus could not find its way into the state also expressed worries over the activities of keke NAPEP and Achaba operators in the state also appealed to the people of the state to continue to remain calm,law abiding and to continue to observe social distancing, avoid social gatherings and other ways capable of spreading covid19 in the state
Our investigation further revealed that markets, mosques, churches and other social centres were closed down following the directives by the state government three weeks ago.
