Nasarawa state has received its first case of corona virus in the state. Governor Abdullahi sule who made the disclosure in a press conference in government house Lafia Tuesday also confirmed that the victim who is a woman came from kano state. The Governor further stated that the woman who was since been taken to Lafia is presently under quarantine..Engineer sule also appealed to the people of the state to remain calm as government would do everything possible to ensure that the disease did not spread to other parts of the state. He called on the people of the state to remain calm and observe social distancing and other things that could not spread the disease. Our investigation revealed that the woman is presently at the Dalhatu Araf specialist hospital Lafia for isolation .Although the Governor did not disclosed the name of the woman, but our source confirmed that she hails from kokona local government of the state.
