Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Nasarawa State on development control, Architect Stanley Buba said the Managing Director, Nasarawa State Urban Development board, Adamu Sule Muhammad’s tenure has elapsed. Architect Buba who disclosed this while answering questions from members of the state house of Assembly also said Governor Sule didn’t renewed the tenure for him since his tenure expired in 2017. The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on development control further told the Assembly that he didn’t undermined the decision of the Assembly, but he wanted the record to straight for posterity to judge. He said as senior Special Assistant to the Governor on development control,he is answerable to the Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule and not to anyone else. On why he gives approval against the law establishing NUDB which stipulates that only the Managing Director has the right to do so, Architect Buba said the law allows him to give approval. He accused the Assembly of not been fair to him,by asking him to only overseeing the western senatorial zone, while the Managing Director to overseeing both the Northern zone and the corporate headquarters of N.U D.B which according to him,was not in the best interest of peace.
