Vice President Commends Nasarawa state Government For Establishing Diagonistic Center For Infectious Diseases

Vice president Yemi Osinbanjo has commended Nasarawa state government for the establishment of diagonistic center for infectious diseases in the state.

The vice president who gave this commendstion at the commisioning of the infectious diseases diagonistic center in lafia on Tuesday also called on the people of the state, other States of the country to capitalize on the center by coming there for treatment and research programme in the center. Osinbanjo further explained that the federal government under president Muhammadu Buhari is doing all it could to ensure the good health of its citizens. He also pledged the federal Governments resolved in protecting the lives and property of every citiezen in the country and called for support and cooperation of everyone to ensure the succeed of the fight against terrorism in the country. The vice president used the occasion to commend the state council of chiefs under the leadership of the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad1 for confirming on him the traditional title of Madugun jihar Nasarawa and pledged to ensure that he fights the enemies of the state and the country. Speaking earlier, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state told the vice president that all the Covid19 patients at isolation centers in the state were confirmed negative and discharged. Governor Sule used the occasion to commend the immediate past governor of the state and now senator of the federal Republic, Senator Umaru Tanko Al Makura for initiating the project and pledged to ensure that he completed any project initiated by his precedecesors. The vice president,Yomi Osinbanjo later paid a condolence visit to the residence of the late APC chairman, chief Philips Tatari Shekwo who was kidnapped and later killed by his adductors. Osinbanjo prayed God to grant the soul of the late chairman eternal rest and to expose those that killed the late APC chairman so as to face Justice.
