Insecurity: Nasarawa State Government Takes Steps To End Attacks On Border Communities.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has said that his Administration is determined to tackle the current security challenges facing border towns of the state.

The Governor who disclosed this during his working tour to local government Areas of the state as part of activities marking his two years in office also assured the people of Toto, Nasarawa and Karu local government Areas that his Administration would leave no stone unturned in ensuring that bandits have no place to operate in the state.

The Governor who visited the Paramount rulers of Toto, Usman Abdullahi, Nasarawa, Ibrahim Usman Jibrin and Karu, pharmacist Luka Panyam Baba further assured them of his resolve in ensuring the security of lives and property of the people. Engineer Sule also told them the purpose of his visit which to find out from people how his government is pairing in the past two years to enable him amend where necessary. The Governor also called on the people to continue to live in peace with other people in the best interest of unity, peace, progress as well as for the overall development. During the town hall meetings in the three local government Areas, the governor who commended the people for the support giving to the Administration, urged them to maintain the tempo.

Meanwhile information available to us indicates, Security men have been deployed to all border towns. While surveillance have been going on with a view to gather more information.
