40th Anniversary of Aren Eggon on throne of his ancestors: Engr Sule bags the title of Madauchin Eggon.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State was at the weekend bagged the traditional title of Madauchin Eggon by the Paramount ruler of Eggon nation. Aren Eggon. Dr Bala Abaine Angbazo. The title was conferred on the Governor as part of activities marking the 40th years Anniversary of the Aren Eggon, Dr Bala Abaine Angbazo. Speaking at the occasion, the new Madauchin Eggon nation and the Governor of Bad state, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule commended the Aren Eggon and the Eggon people for their support to his Administration since he assumed the mantle of leadership of the state over two years ago. While congratulating the Aren Eggon for clocking 40 years on the throne of his ancestors, Governor Sule also appealed to the Eggon people to continue to support his Administration in his bid to ensure the provision of dividends of democracy to the people of the state. The Governor who used the opportunity to appeal to the people to continue to live in peace with one another irrespective of ethnic, religion or political affiliation also assured his government’s commitments in ensuring the protection of lives and property of the citizenry. He also assured of his government’s commitments and support to traditional rulers in the state to enable them discharge their duties effectively. Speaking earlier, chairs of the accasion who is also the first civilian Governor of the state, Senator Abdullahi Adamu while congratulating the Aren Eggon, Dr Bala Abaine Angbazo for clocking 40 years as Paramount ruler of Eggon land prayed God to spare the life of Aren Eggon to enable the younger ones tap from his worth of experience. Senator Abdullahi Adamu therefore called for more unity among the Eggon nation for them to realize their dreams for not only developing their area, but the state and the country at large. On his part, the immediate past Governor of Nasarawa state, senator Umaru Tanko Al Makura commended the Eggon nation for their resilience in doing what they think is right and urged them to continue to live in peace with one another in the best interest of the state and the country at large. Also Speaking, Senator representing Nasarawa North senatorial district, Senator Godiya Akwashiki commended Governor Abdullahi Sule, senators Abdullahi Adamu and Umaru Tanko Al Makura for their unflinching support to the Eggon nation and pledged to reciprocate the good gesture by supporting the policies and programme of the present Administration as well as the maintenance of peace in Eggon. 32 prominent sons and daughters of Eggon land were conferred with various traditional titles during the occasion as part of activities marking the 40th Anniversary of Aren Eggon, Dr Bala Abaine Angbazo on the throne of his ancestors.
