Toto LG Congresses: Nasarawa APC Acting Chairman Exonorates Speaker, Others.

Nasarawa state Acting chairman of All Progressive Congress ( APC) Dr John W. Mamman has exonerated the Speaker, Nasarawa state house of Assembly,Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, Member Nasarawa state house of Assembly representing Toto /Gadabuike,hon. Labaran Usman Shafa and the hon Commissioner of health, pharmacist Ahmed Baba Yahaya from blame on the alleged imposition of candidates during chairmanship and ward Congress election in Toto local government Area of the state. The chairman who was reacting to a press conference addressed by some stakeholders of Toto local government led by the campaign co-ordinator of Alhaji Zakari Shuaibu, Alhaji Suleiman Zubairu ( big boss) accusing the speaker and the aforementioned persons during the APC primary election and ward Congress alleging that they were sidelined during the exercise. Mamman further stated that all the Toto stakeholders met and agreed that the chairmanship candidate of the party should be zoned to Gadabuike development Area, hence the former chairman of the local government came from Toto/ Umaisha development Area He said he was yet to receive a complaint from Toto local government as regards to the issue at stake, but he knows as a fact that Toto local government was one of the local governments in the state that agreed on concensus,in which a chairmanship candidate and Ward officials were chosen and agreed upon by all the stakeholders in the local government. The APC Acting chairman therefore appealed to all agrieved persons to forward their complaints to the appropriate channels for action. It would be recalled that, last weekend a group of APC stakeholders came to NUJ Secretariat Lafia led by the campaign co-ordinator of Toto chairmanship aspirant, hon. Zakari Shuaibu, Alhaji Suleiman Zubairu ( big boss) accusing the speaker of the state Assembly,Hon
Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi and two others for imposing their candidate against the popular candidate of Toto local government and called for outright cancellation of the election and a fresh one be conducted.
