Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has been described as a pensioners friendly governor who has the welfare of the state and the local government pensioners at heart .
Chairman Nigerian Union of pensioners, Nasarawa state chapter, Alhaji Hudu Baba Yaro who disclosed this in a chat with journalists in his office also commended the governor for the stoppage of percentage pensions to both the state and local government pensioners, regular payments of pensions to State and local government retirees,as well as the payments of pension arrears to the state and local government retirees amongst others.
Baba Yaro further stated that the governor has demonstrated his commitment to ensure that the state pensioners have a sense of belongings in order to enjoy their retiring benefits after retiring from service, and pledged to reciprocate the good gesture of the governor to ensure that the pensioners in the state supports all the policies and programmes of the governor to enable him succeed on delivery the dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
He therefore called on the people of the state to continue to support the policies and programmes of governor Abdullahi Sule to enable succeed in the enormous tasks ahead.
