Nasarawa State Government Requests Approval Of Five Special Advisers From Assembly. By Abdullahi Shuaibu, Lafia.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has forwarded a request for five additional specifically Advisers from the state house of Assembling.

Speaker of the house,Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who read the letter of the request on the floor of the house also said, the request if granted would assist the governor on the day- to- day activities of the government.

Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who earlier directed the house leader ,Hon. Umar Tanko Tunga to read the letter also said that if approved, the new special Advisers would ensure good governance, prudent management of resources and accountability in the state.

On their parts, Members representing kokona East,Hon. Daniel Oga Ogazi, karu/Gitata, Hon. David Maiyaki, Kokona West,Hon Danladi Jatau,Obi11 Hon.Luka Zhekaba, and Akwanga East,Hon.Samuel Sebe all supported the approval of additional five special Advisers to the governor, While,Hon. Ibrahim Akwe Obi11 didn’t accept the appointment,as according to him,” the state has no money to execute projects for the people, where will they get money to pay the additional special Advisers?” he asked.

Speaker Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi therefore, directed the clerk of the house. Mr Ego Maikeffi to draft a letter informing the governor of the house approval of the five new special Advisers.
