The Nasarawa State College Of health, Science and Technology, ( NCOHST) Keffi has matrculated a total of 629 students and inducted the second set of pharmacy Technicians.
Speaking at the occasion, provost of the college, Alhaji Suleiman Andi Muhammad urged them to shun acts such as cultism, examination malpractices, Stealing and other acts that are detrimental to their studies.
The provost while welcoming them to the college also urged them to settle down and face their studies seriously as according to him,” the college will not condone any act of indiscipline, examination malpractices, cultism and any act that is detrimental to their studies.”
He therefore appealed to them to be good Ambassadors of the college at anytime and to ensure that only the right things are done. While commending Governor Abdullahi Sule for the support he has been given to the college, he also assured the governor for their unalloyed support at all times in order to ensure the success of his administration.
The provost also announced the commencements of three additional courses in the college to meet the demands of primary health care of the present Administration of Governor Abdulkareem Sule and appealed to all asundry to continue to support the policies and programmes of the administration to enable him succeed on the enormous tasks ahead.
He also called on the newly inducted pharmacy Technicians to be good Ambassadors of the college and to ensure that the name of the college is written in gold.
The provost also announced the collaboration of the college to the Nasarawa State University, Keffi where a graduate of the college is admitted into 200- level, while Ladipo Akintola University, Ogbomoso is using the college for its Degrees and post graduate Diploma in health related fields NM
Also Speaking, Chairman of the occasion and the state Commissioner for health, Pharmacist Ahmed Babs Yahaya commended the Provost of the college, Alhaji Suleiman Abdullahi Muhammad for a job weldone,, While urging them to maintain the tempo, the Commissioner assured them of the support of the government at all times to enable them succeed on the enormous tasks ahead.
