Former commissioner for higher education in Nasarawa state, Chief CA Uhembe is critically down following an attacked on him by unknown gunmen.
Chief Uhembe who is currently a lecturer with the federal university lafia was attacked yesterday by unidentified gunmen at his house in Akunza, Jenkwe development area, 10km away from Lafia,
Information available to us indicates that to the glory of God he is alive and is receiving medical attention in an undisclosed hospital.
Nasarawa Reporters authority gathered that since CA Uhembe relocated from Jos to Lafia on official federal government’s assignment few years ago, this is the second time gunmen have attempt to waste his life.
