Unknown Gunmen on Sunday night attacked former Nasarawa State Commissioner for higher education, Chief C.A. Uhemba and away with his two phones.
The incident which occurred at his residence, Akunza Migili,Jenkwe Development Area of Nasarawa State, about ten kilomètres from Lafia, the state capital.
According to an investigation conducted by our correspondent, this was the second time that the Gunmen attacked chief Uhemba who is currently a lecturer in the federal University Lafia, since he left jos for Lafia, few years ago.
It would be recalled that chief C. A. Uhemba was appointed Commissioner for higher education by the then Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Umaru Tanko Al- Makura to oversee the defunct ministry of higher education in the state.
All efforts to get the police public Relations Officer ( PPRO) Nansel Ransel proved abortive as his line was not going through.
President Tiv Development Association ( TIDA) Nasarawa State, Comrade Peter Ahemba said he heard about the incident, but could not get details of the incident, but was told that the victim who taken to an undisclosed private hospital was discharged and that his phones were not going through as he was told that the gunmen went away with his two phones.
