The All Progressives Congress ( APC ) in North Central has vowed that all its aggrieved are brought back to its fold a head of 2023 general elections.
North Central zonal chairman APC , Alhaji Muhammad Bawa Rijau who made the disclosure during the stakeholders meeting held at Aliyu Akwe Doma banquet hall government house Lafia Tuesday also assured that the party would emerge victorious in the next general elections.
Rijau further advised those who contested the last APC primaries and lost not to leave the party , but to stay and work for the party to ensure the success of the party, and assured that those that stay and work for party’s success would be appointed into various positions of responsibilities.
He said there is no alternative to APC, hence the need for all hands must be on deck to ensure the success of the party in the next general elections. ” We must all join hands together to ensure the success of the party during the 2023 general elections.”
Speaking earlier, state chairman of the party,Dr. John D.W. Mamman assured the North Central Chairman that despite what happened during the last APC primaries where some people who lost have expressed their grievances , but the party in the state was able to set up a reconciliation committee with a view to meet with the aggrieved members which according to him has started yielding fruitful results.
Mamman has assured that APC will win all the elections in the state and the country, but cautioned members against anti-party activities which he said may cause the party its victoriies.
Various speakers at the meeting expressed their concerns over the just concluded primaries and appealed to the national leadership of the party to do the needful in order to ensure the victoriies of the party during the next general elections.
Earlier, the APC North Central Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Bawa Rijau paid a courtesy- call on governor Abdullahi Sule where he told his host that he was in the state to sensitize the members on the need to join hands to ensure the success of the party.
Rijau further explained that APC as a Party is accepted by all Nigerians , hence the need to consolidate on its strength to ensure the success of the party in 2023 general election.
He Commended governor Abdullahi Sule for his transperacy and accountability especially as he returned the sum of #20m out of #140 m given to him during the last APC national convention in Abuja and called on other leaders to emulate the leadership qualities of governor Abdullahi Sule.
Responding, Governor Abdullahi Sule while Commending the APC North Central zonal chairman for the visit and assured them of his support and that of the state government to ensure the success of the party.
While praying for a succeed deliberations, Governor Sule prayed for them for the journey mercies back to their various destinations.
