Pensioners in Nasarawa State have endorsed Governor Abdullahi Sule for second term in office as Governor of the state.
Chairman Nigeria Union Of Pension ( N.U.P). Nasarawa state chapter, Comrade Hudu Baba Abdullahi who made the position of the union known when on solidarity visit to the Governor also said “Governor Abdullahi Sule has done much to the state most especially in the areas of security, regular payments of salaries to workers and pensioners in the state as well as the completion of projects inherited from his predecessors.”
Other areas that the Governor made some impacts according to him include the stoppage of percentage salaries to civil servants and pensioners, promotions of civil servants as well as improving the living conditions of the people of the state
Also the governor succeeded in the areas of health care delivery, Agriculture, industrialisation of the state among others.
The chairman further appealed to the Governor to ensure the payment of arrears of outstanding deduction during thwe dark days of percentage payment for state and local government as well as some returned permanent secretaries, implementation of Pension consequential adjustment of Pension arising from the implications of new minimum wage of 2019 and payment of 33 percentage increase to those that didn’t enjoyed the #18,000 minimum wage approved by the obasanjo’ s regime.
They therefore assured the Governor for their unalloyed Support to his administration in 2023 and beyond.
