PDP Picks Up APC, Over alleged Plans To Pay Any Polling Unit That Delivers Buhari/Lalong

The Peoples Democratic party, PDP has reacted to a piece of news credited an Online publication, allegedly claiming that,”APC vows to pay Polling Units that deliver Buhari, Lalong.
The campaign council in a statement issued by the chairman, Media and Publicity, Yiljap Abraham says the piece of information is absolutely depressing and provocative to the souls of Plateau people:
According to the statement, the Online claims that, “Prominent stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State have resolved to give a financial reward to any pulling unit that delivers the highest votes to President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Simon Lalong and all APC candidates during the elections.
“The leader of the stakeholders and Chairman of Jos South Local Government Area, Mr. Gideon Davou made the pronouncement during the inauguration of ward-to-ward and polling units campaign executives, held in Jos, Plateau State.

Oh, that the competition were for community development efforts!
Oh, that there would be better roads, improved health care and war against poverty in Jos South Local Government!
Oh, that the competition were to empower our numberless youth and suffering women and transform them into very productive agents of nation building!
Oh, that the competition were to fend for the widows, orphans and the homeless at the IDP camp in Zawan where PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar visited on January 12, 2019 and donated Ten Million Naira for their upkeep!
Oh, that the competition were to renovate and re-equip the Government Technical College in Jos South to train more middle level skilled workers for our economy and therefore reduce unemployment and make the economy vibrant.
But APC has no such vision. APC has no such progressive acumen. All it ever does is short-circuit a system; corrupt it; and leave the people worse than it met them.
In a setting where nations and societies are growing their economies, raising the performance levels of their people APC’s highest reach and demeanour is simply to reach only the polling units and buy votes.
APC is dangling money well ahead of the election to silence the capacity of the people to distinctly process the information that aligns with their value system.
This money-for-votes syndrome by APC is unparalleled desperation and will lead the people only into a stupor in which poverty’ s elasticity increases and government performance tragically diminishes.
This is an ill we cannot afford in Plateau.
It will be very useful for the security agencies to invite the Jos South LGC Chairman for a chat on the source(s) of the funds he is putting up as bait.
It will be useful also for INEC to find out how this officer’s daring offer of funds aligns with the electoral laws governing elections.
PDP is aware of the plans to vote stupendous amounts to each polling unit. And our conclusion is just but one: APC values money far more than it does the human dignity. And their effort to further enslave the Plateau people and allow for the expansion of IDP camps will fail.
Plateau people place a much higher premium on their freedom even if they be poor than on APC’s dubious riches which seek only to enslave and decapitate.
Plateau people must exercise their free franchise on every election with a very clear message to APC’s merchants and middlemen: Plateau is not for sale!
Vote out this APC, and *Restore* the dignity and freedom of Plateau!
