Governor Lalong Warns Plateau people Not To Make Mistake Of Returning PDP To Power.

Governor Bako lalong of plateau state has again come hard on the people’s Democratic Party(PDP)as he has warned the plateau people not to mortgage the future of their children by returning the party to power in  2019 general election.

“You should bear in mind that the election is about the future of our dear state. You should vigorously take the Rescue Message to intra-family, neighbor-to-neighbor, ward-to-ward levels of the campaigns. The people at the grassroots ought to know from you nothing else but the truth.
They should be made to understand that those who are responsible for their present poverty woes today, destroyed the education of their children yesterday and looted the national and state treasuries yesterday are the same people seeking to replace APC and return to power to perpetuate the misery of the masses. Their only aim is to return to power to continue their looting  to the detriment of all of the people of plateau, by exention Nigeria as a whole.
Never again should we allow them access to power!

Governor lalong make the remarks during he inauguration of lalong/Tyoden campaign council for 2019 general election held at Elitel Event Central Gold and Base Rayfield, on Tuesday 29th January, 2019.

Governor lalong said, the APC government under his watch in plateau state for the past three years,has impart positively on the live of the people in the state ,hence the reasons he should be given second term to consolidate his infrastructural, human and economic development.

“As an incumbent Government, which has recorded stunning electoral victories against the opposition, and has also achieved so much with so little resources within a record time of less than four years, we must, however, not rest on our oars and be complacent in the task ahead. We must, therefore, do everything legitimately possible to ensure landslide victory, and not mere marginal victory, for our party in all the forthcoming elections.”

He however stress that the event which will help to reshape the political history of APC in the state is made up of men and women of substance that can direct the party political bearing  in state for victory ahead 2019 general election.

“Today’s event, therefore, marks a very significant milestone for the APC Government in Plateau State, as I inaugurate our party’s Campaign Council ahead of this year’s general elections. This is particularly so because today we are inaugurating men and women of “timber and caliber,” who have been carefully, strategically and meticulously selected as arrowheads of the campaign. Their inauguration today, therefore, means that the countdown to our re-election victory has now commenced in earnest.”

As he said the APC in the state is the same with victory since the party wrestled and claimed power from the then ruling party in the state PDP.

“You will recall that since the APC took over the reins of power almost four years ago from the then ruling party, PDP, it has been victory galore for our dear party in virtually all the elections that have been conducted in the state to date. This was clearly demonstrated, particularly during the House of Assembly bye-elections, as well as the recently conducted local government elections. Our victory in these elections eloquently testify to the fact that our party is solidly on ground and that the electorate is solidly behind us.”

Governor lalong however argue the councils to swing into action as there is no time at their disposal.

“I, therefore, urge you immediately after your inauguration today, to hit the ground running. This has become necessary, especially considering that the elections are already around the corner, time is not on our side and the opposition are digging in to gain some political foothold if we slip. Each and every one of us should therefore deploy his talent, training, experience and resources and give this unique assignment the seriousness it deserves with the ultimate aim of delivering victory for the party in all the elections.”

Speaking earlier, the chairman of All progressive Congress (APC) in plateau state, Hon. Latep Daban represented by the Secretary of the party Barr.Musa Sati,said the party has  confident on the calibers of men and women carefully selected to pilot the affairs of the party campaign council for the victory Governor lalong and President Buhari.

He charge the council to work in unity for the victory of the party in 2019 general election.
