PPN Guber Aspirant Kicks Against Zoning In Plateau.

Plateau State Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN), Lieutenant Commander Jerry Ishaya Mangai (Rtd), says zoning in most circumstances undermine the principles of democraticy.

According to Mangai said such zonings has affected elections in Plateau as credible politicians were being denied the opportunity to provide better change for Nigeria.

Mangai who disclosed this Thursday while featuring on an aaccountability forum organized by Correspondent Chapel of the NUJ plateau state, noted that he does not beleive on zoning of political offices, saying that it has an overall implications on the politics of the Nation.

“I believed that zoning encourage corruption, it does not allow people with reputable and rich credentials to contest election partucularly the Governorship election. I don’t believe in zoning that was why I am contesting Governorship election from Plateau Central.

“I believed that my chances are very bright, I have support from both christrians and Muslims in Plateau. Religious leaders are preaching with my name because I mingle with all people both the young, the middle and the aged.”

Mangai noted that he will tackle the insecurity that has enveloped the state and said his administration will bring on board religious, community and everyone on board to resolve the parennial security challenges.

He noted that the concept of Federal Government on resolving the former/herders clashes should be study critical to esnure that both interest are represented.

Mangai said he will run an all inclusive Government where all communities in the state would be represented.

He noted that his administration would partner with China to produce factories that will refine mineral resources, and agricultural produce into finishing products for preservation.
