Governor Lalong Appeals To Journalists To work As One indivisible Union.

Governor Lalong of plateau state has appealed to the Nigeria Union of Journalists plateau state council, to Unite and work together as indivisible Union members to achieve common goals.

Governor said a situation where Journalists discriminate among themselves on the ground of those reporting for so call National Newspapers and branding others as Local Newspapers is capable of bringing disunity within the Journalists folds in the state.

An organization under the auspices of media campaign council, one of the eight(8)Directorates inaugurated by  governor Bako Lalong few days ago , stated this in a press briefing  held at the Nigeria Union Of Journalists(NUJ) Secretariat along Abrahim Taiwo Road, Hill Station Junction in JOS, Plateau State Capital.

The organization frown at the unpleasant reports of disunity within the Fourth Estate of the Realm occasion by egocentric and the medium you represent/ reporting for, as he said all medium  perform the same functions of Educating, Informing and Entertaining .

He however enjoined the Union to join forces together for the common good of the watch dog of the society in particular and the state as a whole.

The campaign council is saddle  with the responsibility to ensure the All progressive Congress (APC) in the  state win the 2019 elections from the presidential down to the state House of Assembly,Bill to hold 16th Feb and 2nd March,2019 respectively.

He further said ,the launching of the party campaign at Central zone that is bill to hold at pankshin LGA Mini stadium 1st Feb,and southern zone which is slated to  hold at the Shendam Mini Stadium 4th Feb,2019 respectively.

The council urge  Journalists in the state to give the events maximum publicity, and
commend them  for theirr wonderful  coverage of the Gubernatorial and the presidential flag off recently in the state. 
I enjoin you to continue in the some spirit as the party needs the support of the media for APC to achieve victory at the poll in 2019 general election.

The Campaign council use the release to appeal to the people of plateau state ,and all political parties to  eschew acrimony and hate mongering as the All progressive Congress(APC) commences the next stage of electioneering campaign.
