Sango, Useni Commend PDP Members Over Peaceful Rallies Across Plateau.

The Chairman of the State Campaign Council, Hon DT Sango and the co-Chairman, Senator JT Useni, have expressed profound appreciation to the entire PDP family across the seventeen Local Government Areas of Plateau for the successful conclusion of the Zonal Rallies.

According to the statement issued by the chairmen Media and Publicity, yiljap Abraham,  said the heallies which started in the Central Zone on Friday January 25th, at Pankshin shifted to Jos for the Northern Zone on Monday January  28th, and culminated in the Shendam rally for the Southern Zone on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019.

“It was a great test of our solidarity and unity as a party against all odds. And I am happy that members showed eagerness and self control all through the programmes.” Said  the party Chairman, Hon. Sango.

The party’s flag-bearer, Senator Useni particularly applauded the resilience and sense of purpose of PDP members in withstanding the constant intimidation and threats of the ruling party and the government of the State.

“We must never fear anything or anyone, no matter who they are or what they have because this is our state. We cannot be afraid to go anywhere in the state for our legitimate business. And by the grace of God, we will win the election and restore the hope of Plateau people.”

The co-chairmen acknowledged the special contributions of former Governor Fidelis Tapgun,  Senators JD Jang and Ibrahim Mantu, elders of the party, former governorship and other aspirants,  candidates for various positions and Ngo Helen DB Zang who attended two of the zonal rallies.

They  praised all members of the State and Zonal Campaign Councils, youth and women groups, support groups, the media as well as the physically challenged  members for working diligently to ensure very successful outings.

They acknowledged and commended the unique presence and services offered by the security agencies in keeping venues and movements of party members and supporters safe.

They once again welcomed home returnees who had earlier  left for other political parties, assuring them that the party will work closely with them toward attaining victory for PDP in the forthcoming general election.

In the meantime, with the conclusion of the zonal rallies, the PDP is set to kick start its Local Government tour and door-to-door campaigns toward the general election.
