AN ANGLICAN PRIEST KILLED BY THE BANDITS IN MAFARA, WIFE AND FIVE CHILDREN KIDNAPPED

Information reaching us this morning has warned those who may wish to apply Talata mafara, Kaura and Jubia Katsina road to have a rethink, as the route is not safe.
An Anglican priest is said to have been killed and his wife and children have been taking into the bush.
Source said, “I was with the fellow at the wheel balance stand at mafara the morning before the incident took place. The worse part of it is that the dead body has been in his car since day before yesterday, due to the fact that the bandits are laying ambush to kill those who will come and take the body even the military are finding difficult to access the place.This is two days no one can have access to the scene.
Again if u are traveling between Sokoto, Zamfara and Katsina please avoid wearing your clerical wears.
The Rev. was on his Anglican Collar and was shot immediately. He ran into them and was killed following the encounter between the Bandits and the military that morning where the bandits suffered casualty.
“Just avoid that road it is a no go Area for now. May God rest his soul and spare the life his family. Amen” . Source added.
