Get Ready to Pack and Go!!!, PDP Flag Bearer Issues Quit Notice To Plateau LG Bosses

PDP Plateau Governorship flag bearer Senator Jeremiah Timbut Useni has sent a strong message to the current local government chairmen who were sworn in after the 2018 local government election in the state: Get ready to Pack and Go because you are sitting on stolen mandate.”
Speaking at the joint Barkin Ladi and Riyom PDP tour in Barkin Ladi on Saturday, he said “I hate indiscipline. We must bring about order. How can people who lost election be called and sworn in? That is indiscipline. And that is stealing.”
Sen Useni said PDP candidates won their elections quite alright but that the APC government disrespected the choices of the people and used the cover of darkness to swear in the current illegal occupants of the office. “I will administer the oath on the rightful winners once I get into office. We have their records with us.”
Useni said his government will be an inclusive one, carrying along the youth, women, physically challenged and every tribe on the Plateau.
He wants to promote unity through equitable distribution of government projects.
On the security challenges in Barkin Ladi and Riyom LGAs, Senator Useni vowed to return the Internally Displaced Persons to their ancestral homes and secure them adequately there to live their normal lives. “We don’t want anybody to run away from his home again. We must provide sure securiry.”
The PDP gubernatorial candidate also condemned the desperate efforts of the APC to rig the elections in Plateau State. And he has this message to the people, “We have received information that they want to supply security uniforms to their trained thugs to be used in polling and collation areas. What I must tell you is that you must not allow anyone to frighten you. Don’t fear their thugs. Stand your ground until they leave you in peace to discharge your civic duty. This is not a local government election that they can do whatever they like. So we will do everything to checkmate their rigging plan
