INEC Office In Engulfed by fire

Berely one week to the general elections, the INEC office in Qua’an Pan Local government in Plateau state has been engulfed by fire causing a setback for the preparations for the general election.
Unconfirmed reports have it that a drunken security man was said to have caused the fire outbreak.
The office is completely burnt with all its content , the Ballot Boxes, Generators serviced and filled with fuel, cubicules , newly printed electronic and manual Voters Register, uncollected PVCs, materials for the preparations of RAC and other materials yet to be identified.
The management team led by the Administrative Secretary, Gbadamasi Rasheed in on the way to assess the situation.
Efforts to get the reactions of the INEC headquarter in Jos failed, as the contact number of the Director public enlightenment and voters education was not reacheable.
