The Newly posted Comissioner Of Police in the Plateau State Command, CP Isaac Olutayo Akihmoyede, fdc has Assumed Duties.
Isaac Olutayo Akihmoyede, Assumed Duties who took over from Austin Agbonlahor, was a commissioner of Police Force Armament at Force Headquarters Abuja.
The Lagos State born Commissioner joined the Nigeria Police Force on 15th March. 1988 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendant of Police and was trained at the Police Academy Annex in Kaduna State.
Statement from the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Terms Mathais Tyopev said he has served in different places in distinguished capacities in the Nigeria Police Force which includes; Crime Officer. Ngor Okpalla, Mbaitoli, Mgbidi and Owerri North, he was also a Divisional Police Officer (DPO) at National Assembly Abuja, UFO in Nkwerre and second in command at Orlu Area Command all in Imo State.
“He once served in Zone 6 Headquarters Calabar as Chief Superintendant of Police (CSP) Administration. He was at a time the head Stolen Vehicles Division of International Police (INTERPOL) Force CIID Annex Alagbon Close, Lagos.
“He Serve also at Enugu State Command at different times as AC CIID and AC Operations.
“As Deputy Commissioner of Police, he served at Zone 4 Headquarters Makurdi and later moved to Osun State Command as the Deputy Commissioner of Police Department of Finance and Administration as well as 2i/c Command.
‘The cosmopolitan Police Officer has worked in virtually all the six geopolitical zones of the country and in almost all the departments in the Nigeria Police Force.
“In all the assignments given to him, he performed with distinction.
“CP, Isaac Olutayo Akinmoyede is a Fellow of National Defence College Abuja and has attended courses within and outside Nigeria.
‘Happy to note is that our Commissioner of Police is media friendly. He knows the importance of the media since he was the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Lagos State Police Command from 1991 to 1995″.
