APC will win Plateau 2019 Elections, Kashiwa Bitrus
By Douglas Francis, Jos
A former aspirant for the House of Representative for Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam federal constituency, under the All Progressive Congress (APC), Kashiwa David Bitrus, has expressed optimism that the APC will win most of the elective positions in Plateau State because of their performance.
Kashiwa has contested but lost at primaries, but said he has confidence in the APC and President Mohammed Buhari and Governor Simon Lalong’s performances in maning the affairs of thrir responsibilities.
“The manner by which they have been administering the state and country has made many people fallen in love with their party, and in the process brighten their chances at the forthcoming elections“.
He said even though he didn’t get the ticket but he is still working for the party and it’s success and has been tirelessly canvassing support for all their party aspirants, including the person who defeated him at the primaries.
According to him, the recent accusation and counter-accusation against the APC administration by the main opposition party, the PDP, is not unexpected because that is the antics of the opposition who are planning to take over power. And so, he said, the people should discard some of the accusations.
On the election postponement, he said the postponement has affected all of them and not only the other parties complaining and condemning the whole process.
He said those calling for the resignation of the INEC chairman are making a great mistake because the if another person is brought in that person can get firm grasp of the system before the election, and likened the situation to pulling out a referee in the middle of the game.
He urged the people to join hands with the INEC as well as the federal government in order to conduct a credible election.
Bitrus allayed the fears of tempering with the sensitive election materials which were earlier distributed and retrieved, saying that the materials are well guarded by the security and all the parties involved and monitoring everything to ensure it is intact.
He called on the electorates not to be engaged in politics of culumni because politics will come and go but the bond that unite the people will remain and it is imperative to maintain people during the elections and even after.C will win Plateau elections..Says
