Panic: As INEC Cancels Election In Plateau PDP Strong Hold,

The security of Plateau is currently under threat following the cancellation of votes cast from PDP Strong Hold of Jos North Local government area in the state by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
The areas affected are the Tudun Wada/Kabong ward of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, where the returning officer for the LGA, Dr. Augustine Azi said over 92,000 have registered to participate in the elections.
He announced the rejection of the votes on claims of illegibility, saying the in the affected areas APC scored 93,800 votes against the PDP which polled 53,277.
Returning Agents for the PDP say they were deceived into signing the results without properly entering them at the Local Government collation centre.
The collation officer for the LGA reportedly assured of rectifying all issues connected to the results before finally submitting them.
Journalists have equally confirmed that the LGA collation officer assured of harmonizing the results before submission.
Dr. Azi however claimed that he only assured of seeking clarification on the issues at the state collation centre.
In reaction, the State Collation Officer, Prof. Anande condemned the action.
“That is wrong,” he said but however maintained that his job was only to receive results and not entertain complaints.
In the meantime, agrieved youths are repprted to have invaded the Jos North Local Government collation Centre, creating panic, resultingpeople have started leaving their business premises to their various homes for fears of uncertainty.
