2019 Polls: NASARAWA PDP REJECTS ELECTION RESULT.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nasarawa State Chapter has rejected results of both the Presidential, National Assembly, Governorship and state House of Assembly elections recently conducted by the Independent National electoral Commission.
The State Chairman of the Party, Francis Orogo who led the team during the briefing made the position of the Party known on Thursday during a Media briefing in Lafia, the State Capital.
The Party, expressed concern over the way and manner INEC staff and security agencies conducted themselves during the election.
According to him staff of the electoral umpire and security Agencies both worked in favour of the ruling partu.
The party Chairman who disclosed that records available to him indicates that his Party was leading in most of the units and wards, said the result of both elections were rigged in favour of the ruling party.
Orogo who stated that the Party has no other option than to participate in rescheduled election in areas declared inconclusive, urged INEC staff as well as security agents to do the needful before, during and after the election.
Orogo who appealed to supporters of the Party not to feel discourage on the out come of the last elections, assured that the party will take appropriate decision after due consultation with stakeholders on the next line of action.
He raised the alarm that some PDP members who did nothing wrong have been invited by security agents, despite the fact that some APC members who were arrested for committing electoral offences have been set free.
