APC Forms Majority In Nasarawa State Legislative Assembly

Feelers have it that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has remarkably beats other Political parties by winning 14 Local Governments out of the 24 seats in the recently conducted Nasarawa state House of Assembly election.

Our Correspondent in reports that results of yhe March 9th 2019 elections indicat that the peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has 5 seats while the Zenith Labour Party won one seat.
It was gathered that the Constituencies where the APC won its seats are, Umaisha/Ugya, Toto/Gadabunke, Nasarawa Central, keffi West, Kokona East, Udege/Loko, Akwanga West, Lafia central, Lafia North, Keana, Awe North, Awe South, Wamba and Uke/Karshi.
The Peoples Democratic Party on the other hand, won in Akwanga South, Nasarawa Eggon East, Doma South, Obi one and Kokona West.
The only seat won by the Zenith Labour Party is Doma North Constituency.
Meanwhile the election in Obi two, Karu/Gitata, Nasarawa Eggon East and Keffi East were declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission, the body that was responsible for the conduct of the last Governorship and House of Assembly elections.
It would be recalled that APC which is the ruling Party in the state has more of the members in the Current Assembly since after the 2015 general election.
It was gathered that the present Speaker of the Assembly, Balarebe Musa was reelected and will be part of the next Assembly members.
