INEC Presents Certificate Of Return To Nasarawa state Governor elect, Engr. Abdullahi Sule

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has issued certificate of re- turn to the Nasarawa state Governor elect, Engr. Abdullahi Sule and his deputy Emmanuel Akabe.
The event which took place at the premises of INEC in Lafia on Thursday, had in attendance, the out going deputy Governor of the state, Silas Agara, heads of security agencies, Commissioners and some other political Office holders as well as political associates of the governor elect.In his speech, INEC Supervising Commissioner, Mallam Mohammed Haruna who Commended politicians and indeed people of the state for the peaceful conduct of the 2019 general elections in the area, said the state is unlike some other states where there were reported cases of crises.
On his part, the resident National electoral Commissioner in the State Othman Ajidagba who expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the general election in the state, said the commission has successfully brought to an end an exercise it has been planing in the last one year.
He applauded the people of the state for their good conducts,before, during and after the election which made the exercise a peaceful one.
“We have been able to deliver a peaceful election in the state and that calls for celebration, this was possible due to the contributions of the Police and other security agencies in the state”.
Responding, the Governor elect, Abdullahi Sule who appreciated the people of the state for the confidence reposed in him, promised to extend his hand of fellowship to all other contestants.
He commended the electoral umpire for conducting a peaceful election that produced him as the next governor of the state.
