Police Express Worries Over Resurgence Of Car Snatching In Plateau.

The Nigeria Police Force, Plateau State Command says it has observed with serious concern the sudden resurgence of crimes like Car Snatching and Removal of Vehicles from where parked which hitherto Were not witnessed in, Jos the Plateau State Capital

The Commamd’s Public Relations Officer, PPRO DSP Terna Mathias Tyopev in a statement said this new wave of crime may not be unconnected with the quest for money to celebrate the forth coming Easter seasons.

“The Command wishes to advise vehicle owners in the state to take minimum security measures in safeguarding their vehicles by getting for themselves either pedal 0! steering locks In addition to the tracking devices being used by some people.

“Moreover. the Command advice that whenever an occasion is to take place in any location within the state, the organizers should endeavor to inform the DPO of that area for either security coverage or advice.

“Meanwhile, the Police Command is working round the clock to ensure the apprehension of members of the Car Snatching syndicate for investigation and prosecution.
