Demolition of Compromised parts of Burnt Jos Main Market Takes Effect 18th May 2019, Dati.

Plateau State Government Says in furtherance to the earlier notice for the demolition of compromised section of the Jos Main Market, it has fixed Saturday, 18th May 2019, as a new date for the exercise.
A statement by state Information and communication commissioner Yakubu Dati says all persons living within 200 metres to the market are to vacate on or before Thursday, May 16, 2019 by 6.00pm.
“Dati Further said vehicular movement will be restricted, and all entry points to the market will be closed, for the safety of all.
“Security agencies, Traders, stakeholders and the general public are to note the new date, being Saturday, May 18, 2019.
The commissioner conveys government’s regrets and any inconveniences this may cause members of the public”.
