Soccer Fans Organize Football Tournament To celebrate Gov. Lalong’s Victory.By Moses GbandeThe Future Boys International Football Club of Tudun Wada, in Jos North Local Government of Plateau state on Sunday beats Ray Stars FC of Ray field Jos south to emerge victorious at the “2019 Lalong Victory Tournament”.Organizers of the Tournament reveals that no fewer than Sixteenth Football clubs have participated in the competition which saw the FBI FC if Tudun wada Jos emerging victorious.Chairman of the local organizing committee of the competition, Mr. Musa Bulus Azi said in an interview that the 2019 Victory Tournament was organized to celebrate Governor Lalong for the zeal he demonstrated during his first tenure in the development of football in the state and to encourage him to do more during his second tenure in office.Azi added that the competition was also aimed at bringing the youths in the state together, irrespective of tribal or religious affiliations to showcase their talents to the world.”The reason why we organize this tournament is the fact that Governor Lalong is the Governor that loves sports, he has organized many of such competitions since he came in, so we want to use this tournament to celebrate his victory a the poll. We also want to used the avenue to bring the youths together and encourage them to keep away from social vices that destroys their lives.He said their desire is to make the competition an annual event and encourages Clubs Managers in the state to create synergy with National and International Clubs so as to showcase their players to global competitiveness.Meanehile, the team leader of the winning FBI FC of Tudun Wada, Jos Mr. Pam James Chollom dedicated the victory to God, saying the competition was not an easy one, having started with sixteen teams but God eventually see him thus top, is worth celebrating.He said even though this is not the first trophy the team has won, he called on the players to remain focus and work harder for greater perfimances in subsequent competitions.
