POLICE BANS PUBLIC PROCESSION IN PLATEAU

The Plateau State Police Command announces to the people of Plateau State that there is a total ban on any form of public procession.
This is as a result of the credible intelligence the Command has received that some misguided elements who are bent on destroying the relative peace being enjoyed in Plateau State want to hide under the guise of procession to achieve their evil intentions.
According ti a press statement issued on Tuesday by the Police Public Relations Officer Plateau State Command, Jos,DSP Tyopev Matthias appeals to the residents of Plateau State to apply and sort its permission for security coverage in all similar outings.
“The Command enjoins all the law abiding residents in the State to go about their lawful businesses.
“Accept the assurances of the Commissioner of Police utmost regards, please”.
