Media aide to the Plateau State PDP chairman Hon Emmanuel Macham has advised those who petitioned the state Chairman to the National Headquarters of PDP to get ready with their facts to proof the allegations.
Macham said the allegations against the Chairman is too weighty to be diverted into a child’s play.
According to him, party faithfuls across the state are waiting for the outcome of the investigation.
“Some few persons are trying hard to change the topic in to a child’s play by arranging groups to see the committee when the arrive.among the groups been arranged are the state women leaders,Youth leaders, elders and some few persons who will be chanting Sango must go at the venue”.
Macham said D.T Sango and his team will be seated at the venue with the petition and petitioners,any person ask to speak at the venue must be ready to answer the questions regarding the 1.6Billion Naira allegation.
He said already a group under the party “PDP Concern Youths” have volunteered to provide Chief DT Sango with a team of lawyers who will be at the venue.
They should be prepared to defend the petition the wrote,nothing short of that will be accepted,we are not in a banana republic or a lawless society.
‘You can’t lay such allegations and expect not to proof it.
‘Any attempt to divert the Sen. David Mark commitee into changing direction will equally be rejected,the committee has terms of reference and it’s mode of operation,our principal is also aware of it,any person struggling to change it to his way is just wasting his precious time.
“You can’t blow falls alarm on people and expect to get away with it.
“All the text messages sent to leaders and attempts to corner innocent persons into the petition is being monitored he said.
“Sango remains plateau PDP chairman’.
Mean while the committee purported to have taking over affairs of the state chapter have been recalled back to Abuja,)
Our correspondent who visited the party secretariat said,the purported commitee secretary who had arrived earlier has equally pack and left the party premises.
Sources said the National Headquarters have denied instructing anybody to take over the state chapter, which left him with no option than to leave.
