Rejoinder: It is Not True That Dakas Shan Takes Over PDP Affairs In Plateau – PDP Media AideBy adminThe Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Plateau State says its attention has been drawn to pictures in social media alleging that Hon Theophilus Dakas Shan, the Vice Chairman North Central Zone, has taken over affairs of the party in Plateau State.The State Chairman, through his media aide, Hon Emma Macham, has debunked the publication,saying the report is false, misleading and concocted, calling it an imagination of the author and his sponsors.Hon Shan contacted the State Chairman, Hon Chief DT Sango, earlier in the day, and sought his permission to have an interactive session with the 16 EXCO members of the party who wrote the petition to the National headquarters of PDP in Abuja.The State Chairman agreed and permitted the North Central Zone Vice Chairman to hold the meeting at any location including the State party Secretariat,he made available the office of the Director of Administration for the interactive session to take place.The Constitution of our great party is very clear regarding leadership,the North Central vice Chairman can’t just take over state leadership as either sole administrator, caretaker or any other name and hold meeting with another group,to a right thinking person.The National Chairman and Secretary are both abroad and the committee constituted have started it’s assignment in Abuja.The malicious publication aimed at distracting party faithfuls and capable of creating security breach in the state is hereby condemned in strong terms.The State Chairman is calling on all party faithfuls to remain prayerful over the ongoing court cases and wish all our candidates victory at the tribunal.Urging party faithfuls to continue supporting by coming out in solidarity with the party at tribunal venues.
