PENGANA STATE CONSTITUENCY BYE ELECTION: Plateau PDP Chairman Hon. Chief DT Sango Salutes Party Candidate and Stakeholders despite Lost.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has exprsseed reglet over tho come of the bye election of the Plateau State House of Assembly for Pengana State Constituency took place last Saturday.

The party Chairman. Hon. DT Sango in a statement says,” with heavy heart that our party, PDP, has lost the election, I must say that the party gave a good fight and that it wasn’t just our day”.

“Meanwhile the party will look at the report from Pengana to see what really happened during the election so that we can chart a way forward.

“I must congratulate our party faithful, the PDP elders, stakeholders and leaders, our vibrant youth and all our supporters in Pengana, who did their best during the campaign and the election. I salute your courage, resoluteness and brilliant efforts by giving a good fight during the election. To God be the glory.

“I salute our candidate, Hon Yakubu Busa Buji, who believed in himself, fought but lost gallantly. The spirit of your father, Baba Busa Buji, who fought to liberate the Buji people, will continue to sustain and give you more strength to fight another day.

May I call on the party follower ship in the State to close their ranks and come together, forget their differences and be prayerful and give their support to all our cases at the tribunals, both at the National and the State. God will surely give us victory.

“I give my sincere appreciation to members of the State Exco and supporters that sacrificed their time to monitor the election in Pengana. I thank, in particular, our National Secretariat, National and State Assembly Members and our Gubernatorial candidate, Sen. J. T. Useni, who showed great concern by giving their time and financial resources/support to our candidate.
