Plateau Female Legislator Hopeful, Zainab Dogo Promises Robust Legislation.

The Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) for the State House of Assembly in the March, 9 2019 General Elections, Hon Mrs. Zainab Dogo Promises a robust legislation if given the mandate to serve.

Mrs. Dogo who contested the election to represent Qua’an pan south in the plateau state but lost is still pursuing her mandate at the election petition tribunal.

He expressed hope that justice would be done, and if she eventually reclaimed her mandate, the people of her constituency whose occupation is farming and are still using crude method of farming would be transformed.

” During the general election, I made the promise that, my people are farmers and are yet to be abreast with the modern method of farming which is having negative consequences on their productivity “

“I intend to change the narrative if given another opportunity to serve the great people of Qua’an pan South constituency in the State House of Assembly”.

Mrs. Dogo said that the only positive legacy she can bequeat to her people for prosperity, saying even when was not in office I have been doing alot for my people”.

“So if I am giving the opportunity to serve my great people of Qua’an pan south constituency, It will give me the opportunity to know where I have made mistakes in the time past and ensure I did not repeat the same thing ,and work hard to avoid them. “

Hajia Dogo describe the people of Qua’an pan south constituency as a very unique set of people who work in unity irrespective of their political difference.

“As Qua’an pan people, we don’t look at which political party you belong but work together for the progress of the constituency devoid of political difference”.

Zainab is currently challenging the victory of Abubakar Mohammad in the 2019 plateau State House of Assembly election, at the Election Tribunal sitting in Jos the plateau state capital.

The case has been adjourned to 27th August, 2019 for the adoption of written addresses.
