PLSG States Commitment To Building More Satellite Markets To Boost Commerce.

Moses GbandePlateau State Government says it has mapped up plans to set up more satellite markets in the state to boost commercial activities.
The State Deputy Governor Prof. Sonni Gwanle Tyoden who made this known while addressing investors at the ongoing 2019 Jos Trade Fair maintained that the State government has also commenced the redevelopment of the burnt Jos main Market under Public Private Partnership (PPP) to bring back its lost glory and also boost the economic activities of the State.
According to him, the demolition and clearing of the Market has been completed and ready for the developers to start the construction work. Adding that Government has set aside a befitting complex centrally located in Jos for One-Stop (OSS) to ease business in the state.
Adding that, the State is in the process of acquiring Land for the construction of permanent International Trade Fair Complex. “Presently, the complex is on-going which I assure you will be commissioned and put to use very soon. In addition to peace being enjoyed in the State Government has enormous incentives for investors. Details of these can be obtained from our pavilion at the Trade Fair Ground. He commended the choice of the theme of this 2019 year Trade Fair, saying it come at a better time because under present leadership, Plateau State, will concentrate its development efforts in areas where it has comparative advantage such as Agriculture.
