Director General, National Institute For Policy and strategic Studies NIPSS-Kuru, Prof Habu Galadima says he is optimistic of a possible improvement of the Health Care Sector in Nigeria should governent implement the report of the findings conducted by participants of the Senior Executive Course 41 of the Institute.
Prof. Galadima made his views known while addressing Journalists on activites lined up for the graduation ceremony of the Senior Executive Course 41 of the Institute slated for Saturday.
He said the Institute, which was established as an Nation’s apex policy initiators on how to build a better Society has over the years produced quality man powers in private and public sectors and are making significant impact in their areas of endesvour.
He hinted that the Senior Executive Course 41 of the Institute has within the ten months of rigorous research work, toured twelve States as well as other countries of the world to carry out research on challenges confronting Health care Services in Nigeria.
He said most of the countries the participants have visited, were those that have similar health Care challenges with Nigeria as well as those countries that have perfect Health Care system.
He stressed that the participants used the opportunity to interact with top level experts and have intergrated to enrich their recommendations and have since summitted their report.
Adding that, the recommendations are so rich that if implemented, the funding challenges confronting Nigeria would be a thing of the past.
Prof. Galadima hinted during graduatiin ceremony, His Excellency, Wendell V.C. De Landro, High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago to Nigeria will delivers lecture on the Topic:
Funding Universal Healthcare Delivery: Lessons from Trinidad and Tobago.
He assured that adequate security arrangements are in place to ensure a hitch-free graduation, saying top governent officials including the 66 graduants are expected to grace the occasion.
