Many who spoke with our Correspondent view the protest, as the best options to end activities of Drugs and the substances abuses in the area as well as other social vices.
They called on governent to strengthen them promising to continue to constantly raid the areas.
“We have seen a situation where, Men of the STF, NDLEA, the Police would come and carried out operations here, some times arrests are made but few days later you will see them back threatening everyone that they are now in charge and no one can dare them. And they have taken advantage of that to continue to pollut this communities.
“That’s why, we have decided to come together as a community to say, Enough to this. If we don’t stand up to defend this community what is going to be a place for our upcoming children. We don’t want to take law into our hands, but Cultism is a crime against humanity, and if we catch any of them. He or she will say the rest.
On a visit to the area the dealers of the Indian Helmps were already looking very dejected and humiliation, even those taking it were on the run, indicating that should this continues the best is yet to come.
