Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has urged civil servants in the state to stay home to enable government monitor the Corina pandemic..
In a press release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Hassan Mijinyawa made available to newsmen in Jalingo, said that the decision is to enable government monitor the situation on Covid-19 pandemic.
The release directed civil servants from Grade level 1 – 12 to stay at home for Two Weeks, starting from Wednesday 25th March 2020.
It further stated that, those on essential services have been exempted from the directive.
It also explained that Governor Darius Ishaku urged Tarabans to effect social distancing and observe good sense of hygiene.
The Governor had earlier directed for the closure of all both government and private schools across the state, to prevent the possible spread of Corona virus pandemic.
