A federal lawmaker from Nasarawa state, Hon. Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba has distributed 1,200 bags of rice and 3,000 tubers of yam worths #13 millions to the people of his constituency. Nalaraba who represents Awe,Keana and Doma federal constituency at the National Assembly made the presentation at Keana central primary school on Sunday also said the aim is to cushion the effects of covid19 and Ramadan fast among the people of his constituency. The federal lawmaker who is the chairman house committee on hajj at the National Assembly further explained that the 1,200 bags of Rice would be distributed to all the 30 electoral wards in his constituency with each ward getting 265
bags, while 100 tubers of yam will be distributed to each of the 30 wards in his constituency across the three local government Areas of his constituency. He said the palliative would be given to the traditional rulers,religious leaders as well as party stakeholders in their respective areas. The federal lawmaker informed of his constituency that covid19 is real, just as he told them to always observe social distancing, avoid overcrowding and other things capable of spreading the pandemic in the areas. Also speaking, the representatives of the three local governments,Deputy chairman, Awe local government, Hon.jibrin Barau, chairman Keana local government, Adamu Adi and representative of Doma local government, comrade Thomas Ogiri thanked the federal lawmaker for the kind gesture.
