Nasarawa Education Commissioner Denies Removing Any Name Of Engaged Teachers:

Nasarawa state commissioner for Education, Hajiya Fati Jimeta Sabo has said that there is no any name removed from the list of 2250 engaged teachers who were absolved into the services of the state government.

Hajiya Fati Jimeta Sabo who was reacting to an allegation going around that her ministry has removed the names of people most especially non-indigenes from the list of authentic staff employed by the state government.

She further explained that even though there were 166 people who were engaged as teachers, but her ministry through Teachers service commission (TSC) later discovered that there are some who have NCE double major with primary education studies, while others with Diploma in computer science, integrated science among others.

The ministry according to her,had no alternative but to send their list to the state Universal basic Education board (SUBEB) while those without education background were taken to the office of the state head service for proper postings after a memo which was forwarded and approved by the state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi sule.

The commissioner also commended Governor Abdullahi sule for his efforts in improving the educational standards in the state.
