Former Rector Isa Mustapha Agwai polytechnic Lafia, Dr. Ruth Jericho has said that no money was missing during his tenure as Rector of the polytechnic.
Dr. Jericho who disclosed this shortly after the handing over to the new Rector of the polytechnic, Dr Justina Anjide kotso on Thursday also said she had discharged her duties effectively during her period despite some challenges like Covid19, lack of funds,and logistics to discharge her responsibility.while thanking the state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for appointing her as Acting Rector. Dr. Jericho called on the new Rector to build from where she stopped in the best interest of continuity. Speaking shortly after receiving the handing over notes from the Acting Rector, the new Rector,Dr Justina Anjide Kotso pledged to study the handing over notes most especially the financial aspects before she would sign the handing over documents. It would be recalled that last Tuesday, Governor Abdullahi Sule has approved the appointment of the Chief Liberian of the polytechnic,Dr Justina Anjide Kotso as Rector,Isa Mustapha polytechnic, Lafia.
