Report reaching us indicates that unknown gunmen on Monday night stormed Kana village, Nasarawa local government of Nasarawa state and kidnapped a pregnant woman and children to an unknown destination.
Eyewitness account reveals that the gun men numberings about 20 attacked kana village at about 10 pm and took away a pregnant woman and children to an unknown destination.
“we are hearing gun shoot for some hours and no security around to protect us” he cried. Also Speaking, another eyewitness,who doesn’t want his name mentioned said”As I speak to you, we don’t know their whereabout, hence there is need for Government to provide security of lives and property of our people. When contacted, police public Relations Officer (PPRO) Nasarawa state police command, A.S.PRamhan Nansel said he’s not aware of the incident”I will get my findings and get back to you” It would be recalled that recently,10 staff of Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) were kidnapped along Nasarawa-Abaji road and have since been released.
