The Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Aliyu Ahmadu Oga Onawo has called for better collaboration between the security agents and the communities in the state.
Alhaji Ahmadu Onawo who made the call in a workshop organised by the local government service Commission (LGSC) on security in all the local government and Development Areas in the state at the ministry for local government and chieftaincy Affairs Lafia on Tuesday also appealed to Government at all levels to provide vehicles and equipment to security agents for effective service delivery. The Royal father who commended the state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for his untiring efforts in tackling insecurity in the state further called on people of the state to always join hands with the security agents to enable them succeed on the tasks ahead. Also Speaking, Nasarawa state director, department of security services (DSS/ Alhaji Ibrahim Nasir while commending the efforts of security agents in the country, further appealed for More synergy between the security agents and members of the public in ensuring crimes Free society..Nasir who underscored the importance of information and intelligence gathering, further said” Security is everybody’s business, hence the need for better collaboration between the public and the security agents in the country”. He appealed to the people of Nasarawa state to always give security agents relevant information that could help them discharge their duties effectively.. Speaking earlier, chairman local government service Commission, Barrister Muhammad Sani Bawa called on participants to make good use of what they learnt during the workshop in various Local Governments for optimum performance.
