The #ENDSARS PROTEST spearheaded by well meaningful Nigerian Youths signalled clarion call for a New Nigeria, anchored on justice and equity. However, as the protests rolled by, elements of questionable characters infiltrated the process turning this well intended protests into different event. The National Executive Council of Ngas Development Association on behalf of the Ngas Nation is saddened with the unfortunate unfolding events across the Country and Plateau State in particular where youths have joined hands with unscrupulous elements in looting Public and Private property as well setting ablaze same thereby endangering the fragile peace in Plateau State. This act is condemnable and uncalled for. We are therefore appealing to the Ngas Nation wherever they are not to join forces with these undesirable elements who have thrown caution to the winds and bent on causing chaos in the land. The Ngas motto of Love, Unity and Development should be our guiding principle as we interact with the wider society and go about our legitimate businesses. We equally commiserates with those who lost their love ones and property as a result of the unfolding unfortunate incident. It is time to Let Peace Reign in the Land and we urge the Government at Federal and State to take urgent, necessary steps and measures to address the demands of our teaming youths.
