Nasarawa state government has said that it has not kept any food items on its warehouse as palliative as alleged by some people.
State commissioner for Information, culture and Tourism, Comrade Dogo Danladi Shammah who made the disclosure when he led journalists to the warehouse at Tudun Gwandara Lafia on Tuesday also said people should avoid rumors mongering that may lead to the breakdown of law and order in the state.
Dogo Shammah further commended youths in the state for not embarking on endsars protest in the state and urged them to maintain the tempo. He said the warehouse is empty as according to him,”all the palliative brought to the state were evenly distributed to the people of the state.,” .
Also speaking, executive secretary, Nasarawa state emergency Management Agency (SEMA) Barrister Zakari Zamani Allumaga commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for prompt action on those affected by flood in the state by providing food items, building materials as well as other palliative to the affected people. He called on support of all to enable Government put the situation under control
Allumaga therefore called on youths in the state to shun violence and embrace peace in the best interest of the state and the country.
