Rector, Isa Mustapha Agwai polytecnic, Lafia,Mrs Justina Anjide Kotso has said that lack of fencing of the polytechnic is giving her sleepless nights. Mrs Kotso who made the disclosure in a chat with journalists in her office Tuesday also said the situation is making them not to ascertain the number of people intruding the institution. While commending Governor Abdullahi Sule for his untiring efforts in the polytechnic, she also called on him to assist in paramètre fencing of the polytechnic. The Rector also commended the state government through the ministry of environment for fumigating the institution in accordance with the Covid19 protocols. She further explained that the the polytechnic had no record of cultism since she assumed office in September this year also urged the students of the institution to maintain the tempo. On the achievements she recorded since she assumed office, Mrs Kotso said” I have interest of the polytechnic at heart,I concentratwd in the area of ICT and other areas that have direct bearing to the polytechnic and am happy with my good working relationship between myself, Staff and the students of the polytechnic and I want all hands must be on deck to ensure the success of my tenure.,’ The Rector further commended Governor Abdullahi Sule on his efforts in uplifting the standard of education most especially the polytechnic education in the state.
