The chairman Toto local government in Nasarawa state,prince Dauda Adamu has said that the fifteen persons arrested last week by security agents are members of Darasalam.
Prince Adamu Dauda who made this known in a chat with journalists in lafia also said the accused persons who were arrested following a security report were arrested in ottu forest in Toto local government and brought to Lafia, the state capital for further interrogation.
The chairman Toto local government further revealed that the accused persons also kidnapped a father and his son and killed them in their farms before they were arrested. He also said that the. fifteenth persons who were kidnapped in a village in the area were rescued after paying some ransome to them. The chairman said those arrested who are alleged Darasalam members are from Niger state are said to be collaborating with the deadly Boko Haram members. He therefore called on the people of Toto tu be law abide and report any suspecious movement to the law enforcement agents for appropriate action.
