The chairman Nasarawa state Traders and Marketers Association (NTMA) Alhaji Sammasu Dantsoho has been accused for embezzelling over N15million from the coffer of the Association.
Acting president of the Association, Alhaji Turaki Gamji who made the disclosure in a press conference in lafia Thursday also accused the chairman for diverting a vehicle belonging to the Association.
Turaki Gamji who further stated that the sacked chairman also violated some sections of the Association Constitution assured that the law would take it course on the sacked chairman.
Other allegations against the chairman include high handedness, corruption and lack of good leadership among other allegations. The president therefore appealed to the members to remain calm and to go about their normal businesses as the new leadership is doing everything possible to ensure the success of the Association in the state. On the issue of security, the president Trad ers and Marketing Association said they would collaborate with the security agents to ensure the security of lives and property of every citiezen in the state. The accused president Alhaji Shammasu Dantsoho could not be reached on phone for his comments as his lines were swtched off.
